The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide comprehensive chute, fire‑ and smoke‑barrier, and fire‑door inspection, preventive maintenance, and emergency repair services at its Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers in western New York. The contract is an IDIQ with a 12‑month base period and four optional one‑year extensions. The contractor must perform monthly preventive maintenance, annual inspections of all barriers and doors, and 24/7 emergency repair response within two hours. VA will supply parts; the contractor supplies labor and must meet NFPA, OSHA, and VA safety standards. The solicitation is set‑aside for SDVOSBs only, with a submission deadline of September 14, 2026.
