HVAC Preventative Maintenance for the District Office and Jax Urban Office

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking to enter into a single source contract with Johnson Controls, Inc. for HVAC preventative maintenance services for the District Office and Jax Urban Office. The contract will include preventative maintenance of the Department's HVAC equipment connected to the Metasys Automation System, including chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, split (DX) systems, and all controlling equipment. The justification for the single source acquisition is that the current Johnson Controls Inc Metasys Facility Automation systems (Metasys System) serving FDOT District 2 campuses have been in place since the completion of the Energy Services Contract between FDOT and Johnson Controls. • The contract will be for a single source acquisition with Johnson Controls, Inc. • The contract will include preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment connected to the Metasys Automation System. • The contract will include maintenance of chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, split (DX) systems, and all controlling equipment. • The contract price is $100,000.00. • The contract is justified due to the uniqueness of the Metasys System and the expertise of Johnson Controls technicians.
