Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified firm to provide Lighting Engineering and Design Services for various projects in Region 1 and Region 2. The selected consultant will provide lighting plans, construction plans, and other deliverables as required. The contract will be an On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with a minimum value of $25,000 and a maximum value of $5,000,000.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing lighting engineering and design services for transportation facilities
• Preparing complete proposed lighting plans, including roadway, interchange, intersection, vehicular tunnel, pedestrian tunnel, and underpass lighting
• Coordinating with other reconstruction projects, roadway design, and local power utility
• Providing soil boring reports, foundation designs, and special details as required
• Conducting field evaluations and providing designer’s cost estimates
• Preparing photometric layouts and lighting design/plans
• Reviewing shop drawings, cut sheets, and material submittals during construction
