Description
McNeese State University is seeking a qualified vendor to provide chiller inspections and preventative maintenance on Trane brand chillers on the university campus. The contract will be for an initial period of two years, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The successful vendor will be required to perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, emergency service, and troubleshooting, as well as replace components and materials as necessary. The vendor must have experience with Trane Centrifugal Chillers and related equipment, and must provide a service technician with at least five years of experience. The contract will require the vendor to provide a comprehensive maintenance schedule, including quarterly running inspections and annual maintenance. The vendor will also be required to provide emergency service, with a response time of no more than two hours. The contract will be awarded to the vendor who provides the lowest responsible and responsive bid. Key aspects of the job include:
