Emergency Ground Support Equipment Rentals, Contingency

The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) is seeking sealed responses for Emergency Ground Support Equipment Rental, Contingency. The major customer for these items and services is the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM). The services and commodities are required for all-hazards emergency preparedness and response, and may be dispatched to multiple locations throughout Texas. The rental periods may vary from 4 days to 6 weeks, depending on the scale and scope of the emergency. • The contract will be available for use by all state agencies and institutions of higher education. • The contractor must provide a fixed rate per piece of rental equipment that is delivered and not used. • The contractor must maintain minimum insurance coverage, including commercial general liability and workers' compensation. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and disclose any self-insured retention. • The evaluation factors include attachment F: evaluation criteria, competitiveness of pricing and fees, and past performance.
