RFCSP763-26-1020ER UNTHFW CBH 1 Reno of Imaging Center

This project is for a general contractor to provide general construction services for the renovation of the Center for BioHealth (CBH), Level 1. The CBH currently houses the ITR (Institute for Translational Research) Imaging Center to support clinical research studies across UNT Health. The existing Imaging Center currently houses two (2) 3T MRI scanners and two (2) Siemens Biograph 450 PET/CT scanners. The program wants to expand with the addition of a third PET/CT scanner. This scanner will be on the 1st floor with existing scanners and requires additional renovation for support spaces that include exam rooms and equipment spaces. • The project requires construction services for the renovation of the CBH, Level 1. • The project includes the addition of a third PET/CT scanner. • The project requires premium hours to be worked in an active, occupied imaging center space without interfering with daily activities. • The anticipated start date is May 2026, and substantial completion is expected by early January 2027.
