Intent to Award a Sole Source contract for an areawide Cepheid Reagent Test Cartridges and Consumables for the Great Plains Area Indian Health Service.

The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service (GPA IHS) intends to award a sole source contract to Cepheid for the purchase of Cepheid Reagent Test Cartridges and Consumables. The contract will support all hospitals and clinics within the GPA IHS area with molecular testing utilizing the Cepheid platforms. The contractor will provide instrumentation, diagnostic reagents/test kits, consumables, and service as required to GPA IHS facilities. The contract type is firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, and indefinite quantity. The period of performance is for a base year plus four option years, with an ordering period of 60 months. The contractor will furnish all facilities with the necessary molecular diagnostic test reagent kits in accordance with CLIA’88 and FDA regulations. • The contract will cover all hospitals and clinics within the GPA IHS area. • The contractor will provide service and support for the Cepheid platforms. • The contract includes an estimated annual reagent test kits based on patient test volumes at individual GPA IHS facilities. • The contractor will provide invoices monthly with clearly identified information, including invoice date and number, contract number, charges for services or products, and brief description of products or services rendered.
