Description
The district seeks a qualified contractor to design, coordinate, and execute student‑created mural projects in MNPS facilities. The contractor must handle every phase—from student‑led concept development, surface testing and preparation, to priming, painting, and final finish—using specified Sherwin‑Williams products and complying with safety, ADA, and background‑check requirements. The contract is a 5‑year IDIQ; work will be ordered via individual purchase orders and paid in advance of delivery.
• Full‑service mural creation: design facilitation with students, wall prep, primer and paint application, and clean‑up.
• Must supply all materials, equipment, and qualified labor; follow ASTM D4263 moisture testing, pH limits, and Sherwin‑Williams product specs.
• Contractor must maintain $1M general liability, $1M auto, $1M sexual‑abuse, workers’ comp, and provide certificates of insurance naming MNPS as additional insured.
• Pricing is per‑square‑foot, firm for the entire 5‑year term; cost accounts for up to 50,000 sf of surface and 100 hours of design services.
• Evaluation emphasizes cost (35 pts), technical approach (25 pts), qualifications (25 pts), and past performance (15 pts).
