Description
This Invitation‑to‑Bid seeks two qualified contractors (primary and secondary) to provide restoration services for landscape, concrete, asphalt, and related work that results from utility repairs performed by Gwinnett County’s Department of Water Resources. The contract is a five‑year, multi‑year agreement that automatically renews each calendar year through December 31 2030 unless terminated. Bidders must submit a unit‑price schedule covering all line‑items; the award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible offer.
• Scope includes concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks, catch‑basin tops, hot‑mix asphalt patching, graded base, sod replacement, seed, hydroseed, topsoil, and all associated traffic‑control and site‑prep work.
• Work orders are issued throughout the year (≈ 62 per month), with normal orders required to be completed within 21 calendar days and emergency orders mobilized within 24 hours.
• No retainage; payments are on a per‑unit basis after full work‑order completion, with invoices due within 30 days.
• Bonding requirements: 5 % bid bond and 100 % performance/payment bonds (A‑M Best rating A‑8 or better).
