Transmission Line Drone Inspections

The Lee County Electrical Cooperative is seeking a qualified provider to conduct drone‑based visual inspections of its transmission line assets. The contractor will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high‑resolution aerial photography and videography, as well as producing inspection reports that meet utility‑industry standards. This work supports preventative maintenance, asset condition assessment, and regulatory compliance for the cooperative’s electric distribution system. • Perform drone flights over transmission line corridors to capture imagery and video of conductors, towers, and right‑of‑way. • Process and analyze collected data to identify defects, vegetation encroachment, and other hazards. • Deliver comprehensive inspection reports, GIS‑compatible data sets, and recommendations for remediation. • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, utility safety protocols, and any local permitting requirements.
