Description
The City of Griffin is seeking a consultant to provide an update to the 2023 – 2043 Comprehensive Plan and Re-Write to the Unified Development Code. The project will be divided into two parts: Part 1 will focus on rewriting the Unified Development Code, and Part 2 will focus on updating the Comprehensive Plan. The consultant will work with City staff to develop a new Unified Development Code and update the Comprehensive Plan to meet the minimum standards for local comprehensive planning. The scope of work includes diagnosis of the existing Unified Development Code, review of development regulations, zoning map updates, and community engagement. The consultant will also provide a detailed public engagement outreach plan and facilitate public meetings and stakeholder interviews.
• The project is expected to last 24 months.

• The consultant will assist the City in obtaining and utilizing community and stakeholder input.
