Description
The Texas Juvenile Justice Department is seeking bids for employee uniform rental and laundry services to be provided to various locations throughout the State of Texas on a weekly basis. The contract will have an initial term of one year with three optional renewal periods. The contractor will be responsible for measuring employees for uniform fit, providing sample sizes, and making size alterations or exchanges as needed. The contractor will also be responsible for picking up soiled laundry and delivering clean laundry once a week.
• The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in servicing contracts of this size and scope.
• The contractor must provide a minimum of 3 references from similar projects.
• The contractor must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the State of Texas.
• The contractor must provide a clean uniform locker for hanging of delivered uniforms and a soiled uniform locker for return of dirty uniforms for laundry.
• The contractor must provide first aid kits and supplies and re-stock them as needed.
