Description
The Shelby County Board of Education (SCBE) seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive staff‑augmentation services for its K‑12 schools and district offices. The vendor will recruit, credential, place, payroll, and manage a broad pool of instructional and support personnel on an as‑needed basis, ensuring immediate availability when vacancies arise. All employees must meet Tennessee licensure or credential requirements, pass background checks, obtain green‑light badges, and be covered by the vendor’s payroll taxes, benefits, and insurance. The contract is a fixed‑price, hourly‑rate agreement (rates $20‑$25 per hour) for a one‑year term, with up to four one‑year renewal options.
• Supply certified teachers, substitutes, counselors, librarians, education assistants, behavior specialists, family‑engagement specialists, nutrition‑services staff, transportation, warehouse, and clerical personnel.
• Handle full recruiting cycle: sourcing, credential verification, training, E‑Verify, background checks, badge issuance, and ongoing supervision.
• Assume all payroll responsibilities (wages, taxes, workers’ comp, unemployment, benefits) and maintain required insurance limits; SCBE provides workspace and equipment.
• Maintain a ready pool of qualified candidates to fill vacancies effective the first day of assignment; report on performance metrics and satisfaction.
• Contract term is one year with optional renewals up to five years total; hourly rates must stay within the $20‑$25 range for each renewal year.
