HUD Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Program FY26

The County of Peoria is seeking qualified vendors for the HUD Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Program FY26. The program aims to eliminate lead poisoning in the County of Peoria by providing lead paint mitigation and residential repair services. The contractor will be responsible for performing lead abatement work, including preparing the worksite, containing the work area, and cleaning and disposing of lead-based paint debris. The contractor must comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including HUD guidelines, EPA regulations, and OSHA requirements. • The contractor must have experience in lead abatement contracting and must provide proof of insurance, licenses, and certifications. • The contractor must comply with the Peoria County Purchasing Ordinance and the Illinois Human Rights Act. • The contractor must provide a detailed financial statement and furnish any other information required by the Peoria County Purchasing Department. • The contractor must have a written affirmative action plan and a written sexual harassment policy statement. • The contractor must notify its advertising and recruitment sources that it is an equal opportunity employer.
