Notice of Intent to Sole Source Maintenance for Destruction Equipment

The United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) is seeking a contractor to perform preventative maintenance services on their Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) brand Disintegrator & Briquettor System. The contractor will be responsible for performing maintenance services three times a year, with each service including tasks such as replacing disintegrator blades, sharpening spare knives, and inspecting the briquettor system. The contractor will also be required to provide emergency service calls in the event the equipment becomes non-operational. • The contract is for a base period of one year, with six option years. • The contractor will be required to perform maintenance services at the AVCOE facility in Fort Rucker, Alabama. • The contractor will be required to provide a document identifying that the maintenance service has been performed to standard. • The contractor will be required to complete AT Level 1 training, iWatch training, and OPSEC training. • The contractor will be required to comply with all personal identity verification requirements and access and general protection/security policy procedures.
