New Years Eve Fireworks Display 2026

The City of Shelton is seeking competitive bids for a New Years Eve Fireworks Display 2026. The display should be a minimum of 20 minutes in duration, with shells not exceeding 5" in length. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the display. The city reserves the right to select a start time between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including NFPA standards and Connecticut General Statutes. The city will not entertain any bids exceeding $13,300.00. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance naming the city as an additional insured. • The contractor must provide a non-collusion affidavit. • The contractor must provide experience and client list/references. • The contractor must provide qualifications and licenses. • The contractor must review and confirm the city's sample agreement. • The contractor must provide an inclement weather policy. • The contractor must provide display details, including quantity and size of shells and duration of the display.
