Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Pyxis Check MLM and Scanner Kit

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 7), Birmingham VA Medical Center is issuing a Notice of Intent to inform industry contractors of the Government’s intent to execute a Sole Source award. The purpose of this project is to install and configure Pyxis Check software along with the Medication Label Module (MLM) and Scanner Kit at the Birmingham VA Health Care System’s main campus. The addition of Pyxis Check and the MLM will increase the proficiency of the department while decreasing errors. • The OEM, CareFusion Solutions LLC, is the exclusive manufacturer of Pyxis products. • Four Points Technology LLC is the only SDVOSB authorized distributor for CareFusion/BD Pyxis products for the Federal market with certain product limitations. • The place of performance is Birmingham VAMC, 700 – 19th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35233. • The intended Contractor is Four Points Technology LLC. • The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541519 Other Computer-related services.
