Maintenance Agreement for Microscope

The National Eye Institute (NEI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a contractor to provide a Fixed Priced One-Year Maintenance Agreement for several microscopes. The contractor will be required to provide preventative maintenance inspections, labor and travel related charges, covered replacement parts, and other services. The contractor must be authorized by the original equipment manufacturer, Carl Zeiss, to provide all services and products. Some key points about the job include: • The contractor will provide one preventative maintenance inspection per agreement year. • The contractor will provide all labor and travel related charges associated with any service visit. • The contractor will provide all covered replacement parts. • The contractor will provide 10% discounts on consumable purchases and instrument upgrades. • The contractor will provide software version upgrades when available. • The contractor will provide scheduled and emergency service between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
