DeSoto County Banking Services

DeSoto County is seeking a qualified financial institution to provide comprehensive banking services for the County, covering a wide range of accounts (general operating, grant, payroll, lockbox, etc.) and associated functions such as online banking, reporting, disaster recovery, and investment of excess cash. The contract will be for an initial three‑year term with two optional one‑year renewals, for a maximum of five years. The County requires a single institution (or multiple, at its discretion) to handle daily transaction processing, same‑day posting, ACH, wire transfers, positive pay, and to supply various supplies and credit cards at no cost to the County. The proposal must include detailed fee structures, evidence of “Qualified Public Depository” status, credit ratings, and references.
