On-Call Emergency Sewer Repair Services

The City of San Leandro is seeking qualified proposals for emergency sanitary sewer repair services. The selected contractor will provide on-call and emergency repair responder services for sanitary and storm sewers. The contract will be for three years and include a fixed not-to-exceed amount. The contractor will be required to provide estimates for emergency repairs based on an established fee schedule. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing all labor, materials, and equipment to perform sewer system repair services as needed • Meeting the City of San Leandro standard specifications for the sewer systems • Warranting all work for a period of one year from the final date of completion • Using specific materials such as SDR-26 pipe and fittings, pipe bedding, and crushed aggregate base • Performing typical sewer repair tasks including excavation, replacement of existing sewer pipes, and reconstruction of roadways and sidewalks
