NOTICE: State Buy America, Findings and Orders

The Oregon Department of Transportation has issued a notice regarding the Director's findings and orders for the State Buy America program. The notice is related to the waiver of Buy America requirements for Maintenance/Operations Emergency public works contracts or public improvement contracts. The waiver is granted for 36 months, ending December 17, 2028. • The waiver is for Maintenance/Operations Emergency public works contracts or public improvement contracts in excess of $250,000. • The waiver is consistent with the public interest, pursuant to ORS 279C.303(2)(c). • The waiver may be amended, rescinded, or the duration shortened if information is obtained before the end of the 36-month period, which indicates that the waiver is no longer in the public interest.
