Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a firm to provide aerial lift equipment rental services in support of the Barkley Lock Dewatering project at Barkley Lock, Grand Rivers, KY. The equipment will be used to facilitate downstream miter gate inspection, weld repairs, gudgeon pin replacement, diagonal bracing repairs, and the installation of fatigue reduction gussets. The contractor will be responsible for delivering, maintaining, and operating the equipment. The period of performance is from 11 Aug 2026 to 30 Sep 2026.
• The contractor will provide all necessary equipment, transportation, maintenance, and support for the duration of the performance period.
• The equipment will be operated by Government personnel or designated representatives who are certified to operate such machinery.
• The contractor will be responsible for delivering the equipment to the project site and removing it at the end of the performance period.
• The contractor will provide a price schedule for the equipment rental services.
• The contractor will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety, health, and environmental protection.
