Public Auction Surplus Computer Equipment (School Department)

The Needham Public Schools is holding a public auction to dispose of surplus computer equipment from the Information Technology Center. The auction will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 10:30 - 11:00 AM at 28 Glen Gary Road, Needham, MA 02494. Items for sale include iPads and computers, which will be sold as two predetermined lots rather than as individual pieces. Potential purchasers are invited to attend a preview inspection on the same day from 10:00 - 10:30 AM. The sale will be conducted as a live auction, and all bids must be accompanied by a signed bid form with a non-collusion statement. • Items for sale include 2820 iPads (2456 operational, 364 unknown/broken) and 532 computers (494 operational, 38 unknown/broken). • The auction will take place at the Hillside School, 28 Glen Gary Road, Needham, MA, 02494 in the Information Technology Center. • All sales are final, and items are sold in "as is" condition. • Purchasers are responsible for removing all purchased items from the premises at their sole expense by 3:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026.
