RFP 2026-012 On-Call Stormwater System Repairs and Maintenance Services

The City of Tucker is seeking a qualified contractor to provide On-Call Stormwater repair and maintenance services. The contractor will be responsible for providing services such as culvert repair or replacement, storm system repair or replacement, streambank stabilization, and more. The contract will be for a period of one year with three optional one-year extensions. The City intends to select more than one contractor through a qualification-based selection process. • The contractor must have the capability to provide coordination with affected utilities, erosion and sediment control, tree protection, and traffic control as needed. • The contractor must comply with all OSHA and other applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, and standards for workplace safety. • The contractor must complete work in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications unless otherwise directed. • The contractor must abide by any and all applicable professional standards, local codes, manufacturers’ recommendations, and safe work practices. • The contractor must dispose of all excavated construction materials and other waste in accordance with all applicable laws. • The contractor must secure any or all applicable permits or licenses to complete the work described. • The contractor must maintain a current Utility Contractor license with the State of Georgia. • The contractor must communicate with the Mayor, City Council, and media services only through the Director or Deputy of Public Works, unless otherwise authorized.
