Description
The City of Lewiston is seeking bids for the supply and installation of a standby generator at the Lewiston Armory. The work includes the design and installation of the generator and all associated work per plans, notes, and specs. The bid must include a base bid with the transfer switch mounted inside the building and an alternate bid for the transfer switch mounted on the exterior of the building. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to the total contract price.
• The bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid price.
• The successful bidder will be required to commence work within 10 days after the execution of the contract and deliverance of the bonds.
• The work must be completed within the time limit specified in the Supplemental Specifications.
• The bidder must be financially solvent, experienced, and competent to perform the work.
• The bidder must be familiar with all Federal, State, Municipal, and Departmental laws, ordinances, and regulations that may affect the work.
