Description
The Henry County Water Authority is seeking professional engineering consulting services for water and sewer infrastructure design on an as-needed basis. The selected firms will provide services for a period of three years, with two additional one-year renewal terms. The scope of services includes water system design, sewer system design, permitting and regulatory compliance, construction management support, and planning and studies. The Authority encourages minority-owned, veteran-owned, and woman-owned businesses to participate in the procurement process.
• Water system design: design of water distribution systems, hydraulic modeling and analysis, preparation of technical specifications and bid documents.
• Sewer system design: design of sanitary sewer systems, hydraulic modeling and analysis, preparation of technical specifications and bid documents.
• Permitting and regulatory compliance: assistance with obtaining permits, compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Construction management support: construction bid and award services, review of contractor submittals and shop drawings, construction monthly progress meetings.
• Planning and studies: feasibility studies for infrastructure projects, master plan updates for water and sewer.
