Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide Intra Enterprise and Depot Express Package Tracking System licenses in support of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 20. The system should provide real-time package tracking, signature capture, and maintain a comprehensive record of the full chain of custody. The contractor will be required to provide licenses for the system, as well as a warranty/replacement program for existing cordless scanners and barcode printers. The period of performance will be one twelve-month base period plus four additional twelve-month option periods.
• The system must integrate with existing cordless scanners, barcode printers, and mobile application infrastructure
• The system must provide a real-time, end-to-end view of package tracking workflows
• The system must maintain a comprehensive record of the full chain of custody, from receipt or request through pickup and delivery
• The system must allow the VA to retain all historical data and provide recipients of expected packages with view-only access to the tracking data
• The system warranty/replacement program must provide seamless replacement or warranty service for cordless scanners and barcode printers as needed
