Description
The City of Danville is seeking a Virginia‑licensed contractor to perform a complete renovation of the municipal building located at 206 North Union Street. The scope includes demolition, site work, structural upgrades, interior finishes, MEP systems, fire‑life safety, exterior envelope work, and final testing/commissioning, all to be delivered under a single lump‑sum contract. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, performance and payment bonds, and maintain required insurance. Work must begin within five calendar days of a written Notice to Proceed and be completed within 121 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $250 per day for late completion.
