Parks and Landscaping Maintenance Services

The City of Milpitas is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide comprehensive Parks and Landscaping Maintenance Services for designated City parks and facilities. The selected vendor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform routine and preventative tasks such as turf care, irrigation system maintenance, weed abatement, waste and debris removal, and upkeep of various park elements. • The contract will be for a one-year initial term with six options to extend, for a total of seven years. • The City is seeking a professional, reliable partner with demonstrated experience in public-sector landscape maintenance. • The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining 25 City Parks totaling more than 7 million square feet, as well as landscaped areas for 11 City facilities. • Optional add alternates include landscape maintenance and weed abatement for City street medians and landscape maintenance districts.
