Description
The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is undertaking a Boarding Area F (BAF) Refresh Project that will reconfigure seven aircraft gate positions in Terminal 3. Hensel Phelps, the design‑builder, is seeking a qualified design‑build Core Trade partner to provide electrical and special‑system services, including schematic and design‑development drawings for the replacement of existing passenger boarding bridges and associated gate equipment. The work will be staged to limit airport‑operation impacts, with coordination of alternate gate usage as required. Optional budget‑dependent scope may include interior upgrades, concession improvements, and baggage‑handling system enhancements, to be defined during the programming phase. Bidders must submit proposals by 2:00 PM PST on 9 Sept 2026.
