Traffic Control Management Services

The City of Bell is seeking a qualified traffic control contractor to provide traffic control services for the Southeast Los Angeles Open Streets Event. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, supervision, personnel, traffic control officers, equipment, materials, vehicles, tools, signage, barricades, radios, and related traffic control devices to safely implement and maintain all required street closures and traffic control operations associated with the event. The contractor will also be required to develop and maintain all necessary event traffic control records, staffing logs, equipment inventories, and operational documentation. The scope of services includes traffic control services, event setup and breakdown, traffic control plan coordination, emergency response and communication, and equipment and materials provision. • The contractor must comply with all applicable safety standards and regulations, including the California Manual of Traffic Controls for Construction and Maintenance Work Zones. • The contractor must provide qualified traffic control personnel and equipment necessary to support all approved street closures, traffic diversions, and pedestrian safety operations associated with the event. • The contractor must maintain sufficient inventory and availability of traffic control equipment and materials necessary to support the event. • The contractor must develop and maintain all necessary event traffic control records, staffing logs, equipment inventories, and operational documentation. • The contractor must participate in coordination meetings with the City of Bell and its designated representatives to ensure proper planning, implementation, and execution of traffic control services for the event.
