Gwinnett County is seeking a qualified pest‑control contractor to provide comprehensive exterminating services for more than 200 county‑owned facilities. The contract is a one‑year base term with up to four optional one‑year renewals, covering routine preventive‑maintenance treatments, on‑demand emergency pest control, wildlife exclusion, and periodic quarterly and semi‑annual projects. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bid, and the contractor must meet strict insurance, background‑check, and reporting requirements while maintaining a 24‑hour field response capability.
• Scope includes interior/exterior treatments for insects, rodents, termites, bed‑bugs, and nuisance wildlife across correctional facilities, fire stations, sheriff’s office, water‑resource plants, parks, libraries, and more.
• Contractor must submit detailed line‑item pricing for monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual services, plus rates for on‑demand work, and provide renewal pricing percentages.
• Mandatory deliverables: post‑service reports, signatures from facility staff, MSDS documentation, and electronic invoicing; insurance limits include $2 M GL, $1 M auto, workers’ comp, and umbrella coverage.
• Performance expectations: 24‑hour response for callbacks, 4‑hour response for emergencies, and call‑backs within 30 days at no extra charge.
