Description
The City of Lavonia is seeking bids for the Water Treatment Plant - 2026 Improvements project. The work includes modifications to the water treatment plant to increase treatment capacity to 3.0 mgd, including modifications to the raw water pump station, new flash mixer and mixing basin, modifications to the settling basins, filters, chemical feed system, clearwells, and all related appurtenances.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act requirements.
• Bidders must comply with Executive Order No. 11246 as amended, entitled "Equal Employment Opportunity" and with the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act.
• The project will receive partial funding from the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority.
• The successful bidder is required to provide both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded Contract amount.
