Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking professional design and engineering services with qualified Civil and Bridge Engineering firms to establish Statewide continuing contracts. The selected firms will provide services for various projects within FDACS, including design plans, specifications, bid support, and construction administration services. The contracts will be for a period of three years with three one-year renewal options.
• The scope of work includes preliminary planning, design and engineering, inspections, and project management.
• The firms should have relevant successful experience with civil and bridge engineering services, including design of pedestrian and motor vehicle bridges, water resources design, environmental design, and site planning and layout.
• The firms should also have proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• The selection process will include a preliminary evaluation, a selection committee evaluation, and a final selection.
• The Department intends to award up to four continuing contracts to the highest-ranking firms.
