Information Technology E-rate Grant Wireless Infrastructure Replacement

The City Library IT Department is seeking a qualified and certified e-rate vendor to provide, install, and configure a new wireless access point (AP) infrastructure across its 11 branch locations and the Library Headquarters. The selected vendor will be responsible for the complete deployment process, including removal of existing equipment, installation of new APs, labeling, cabling, configuration, and post-installation verification to ensure reliable, high-performance wireless coverage for both library staff and patrons. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacing 89 existing indoor UniFi access points, including 1 outdoor-capable unit, with new, manufacturer-supported equipment • Providing a comprehensive cost proposal and technical proposal • Demonstrating public-sector experience, technical competence, and the ability to deliver cost-effective solutions with strong warranty and support services • Complying with E-Rate program requirements and FCC regulations • Attending a mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit • Submitting a proposal that includes all required documentation and information, as outlined in the RFP
