26-0320 LED SIGN REPAIR - JOB WALK

The County of Los Angeles is seeking a contractor to repair an existing LED sign at the Department of Medical Examiner. The sign is double-sided, approximately 12' long and 4' high, and has a digital scrolling display. The contractor will be required to diagnose and repair the sign, replace or repair defective LED modules, power supplies, or other electrical components, and test the display for full functionality. The contractor must also provide an estimate of the work needed, a list of parts to be replaced, and recommended maintenance prior to starting the replacement. A minimum one-year warranty on all parts and labor is required. • The sign is located outside in the corner of the employee parking lot and is easily accessible. • The digital display is LED and capable of displaying 4 lines of 29-37 characters per line, full color. • The sign uses Color 32x176 pixel matrix. • The contractor must attend a mandatory job walk and submit all required forms by the solicitation closing date. • The contractor must provide two invoices from the last three years showing similar scope/work. • All work and accessories installed must comply with California Energy Code Title 24, Part 6.
