Description
The Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive school security services. The services shall include monitoring building access and visitor entry, conducting patrols of school buildings and grounds, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, reporting incidents, and supporting school administration with safety-related matters. The contract term will be for three years, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. The District reserves the right to terminate the contract with thirty days' written notice. Proposers must meet the minimum qualifications, including being licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to operate a security or guard service, having demonstrated experience providing security services in institutional or school settings, and having financial capacity to perform the contract.
• The proposal submission requirements include submitting five complete copies of the non-price proposal and one original price proposal in a separate sealed envelope.
• The evaluation process will consider the qualitative ratings of the non-price proposals in conjunction with the proposed prices.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible proposer whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the District.
