Description
The City of Columbus – Division of Fleet Management is seeking a contractor to provide annual fire pump testing services. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the testing services. The services shall include annual fire pump testing in conformance with NFPA 1901 Standards, mobile pump testing, coordination with Fleet Management personnel, and completion of all initial testing and any required re-testing within the specified timeframe.
The key requirements for the contractor include:
• Having a minimum of five years of documented experience performing fire pump testing services
• Demonstrating experience with mobile fire pump testing operations
• Providing references upon request from comparable clients
• Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
The estimated total amount to be expended under this contract is $19,800, and the contract term shall be one year from the effective date of the agreement, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms.
