Description
The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is soliciting bids for housing accommodation for the Training Academy #158 in Palmer, Alaska. The selected vendor will provide housing units for 20 DOC Training Academy attendants, with each unit having a double or queen-size bed, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The units must also have biweekly cleaning services. The contract term is from July 14, 2025, to August 26, 2025.
• The vendor must provide housing units within a 25-mile radius of the Department of Corrections Training Academy.
• Each housing unit must have a minimum of a microwave and refrigerator, with all appliances and equipment being clean and fully operational.
• Biweekly cleaning services are required, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and removing trash.
• The vendor must provide a firm, fixed-price contract.
• The state will only pay for occupied units.
