The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is inviting qualified food service vendors to submit a proposal for a newsstand to be operated in the Senator John H. Hughes State Office Building in Syracuse, New York. The goal is to provide employees and visitors with a variety of healthy and affordable food and beverage options during building hours. The newsstand is located in the main lobby and serves a population of approximately 526 employees. The vendor will be responsible for capital improvements unless otherwise negotiated. Key requirements include: • Providing a variety of healthy and affordable food and beverage options • Operating the newsstand during building hours • Negotiating a base rent in equal monthly installments • Complying with green lease requirements and executive order 22 • Participating in minority- and women-owned business enterprises • Complying with legal requirements and restrictions on communications during the procurement process
