Trunk Sewer Inspection Services

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a consultant to provide trunk sewer inspection services. The scope of work includes project management, locating, marking, opening, inspecting, and properly closing trunk sewer manholes, inspecting exposed pipes, inspecting stream crossings, documenting and dye testing all exposed sewers, and other source detection efforts. The consultant must have experience in managing similar projects and have the necessary expertise, manpower, equipment, and financial resources to execute the work. The proposal will be evaluated based on factors such as firm experience, key personnel, technical approach, and pricing. • The consultant must have a minimum of five years of experience in North America and have completed at least five projects similar in scope. • The consultant must have key personnel with the necessary qualifications, including a licensed project engineer and certified senior field technicians. • The consultant must provide a detailed technical approach, including a plan for performing inspections in challenging environments and a comprehensive QA/QC plan. • The consultant must provide a price proposal based on the units of measure and labor classifications listed in the pricing proposal section.
