Description
The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for the removal and installation of a platform system for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) located at the Capital Ambient Air Monitoring Site. The job requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove the existing wood platform system, prepare the site for installation of a new aluminum platform system, and install the new system with stairways and ramps.
Key requirements include:
• A jobsite visit is mandatory prior to bid opening
• The contractor must provide a bid security of 5% of the amount bid
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• The contractor must provide a completed Attachment B - Jobsite Verification Form or a signed letter from the Agency representative stating that the vendor has visited the jobsite
• The contractor must have a Contractors' License Number in the appropriate classification(s) such as Building Construction and/or Carpentry
