Dry Cleaning Services

The City of Lakeland is seeking a vendor to provide dry cleaning and laundry services for the Lakeland Police Department and Lakeland Fire Department. The vendor must have locations within the Lakeland Electric Service Territory and provide a high level of garment care, detailed invoices, and customer service. The contract will be for 5 years with an option for four 1-year renewals. The vendor must provide pickup and delivery services, laundry and dry cleaning services, and alterations. The vendor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety and health. • The vendor must provide reliable uniform care without disrupting shifts or emergency response • The vendor must have adequate capacity to handle significant annual garment volume • The vendor must comply with biohazard handling regulations • The vendor must provide transparent and accurate billing practices • The vendor must provide consistent, professional garment finishing meeting law-enforcement and fire-service standards • The vendor must be capable of scaling services up or down depending on yearly usage
