Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified vendor to provide dump truck upfitting services for up to 141 tandem axle snowplow dump trucks. The contract duration is 12 months, and the vendor must be able to deliver the trucks within 365 calendar days of receipt of a purchase order. The vendor must also provide maintenance and support services for the trucks during the contract period. Key requirements include experience in upfitting Class 8 Snow and Ice operation dump trucks, the ability to maintain a file of all maintenance work performed, and the ability to provide weekly production meetings to discuss any concerns or changes.
• The vendor must provide a complete and delivered F.O.B. destination pricing for the snowplow trucks, including manufacturer warranty.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The vendor must provide a certification that the model bid is the latest current model and includes the manufacturer's latest engineering changes.
• The vendor must demonstrate the equipment at a location chosen by the Department to prove any feature or performance capabilities that may be in question.
