Parts Cleaning Tank Services

The City of Tacoma is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City’s needs for parts cleaning, tank maintenance, solvent, filters, and fluid servicing, including sundry equipment, supplies and parts. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on price, product quality, and availability. The successful bidder must provide quality mineral or non-mineral based biodegradable solvents for City-owned tanks, equipment servicing on regularly scheduled visits, and meet all federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations governing the full range of services provided. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing quality solvents and equipment servicing • Meeting all federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations • Maintaining a written audit trail for waste products • Providing material safety data sheets for products • Complying with the City's Sustainable Procurement Policy and Climate Action Plan • Providing insurance coverage and limits of liability as specified in the contract The contract term is anticipated to be from December 2025 through December 2028, with two additional one-year renewals.
