038 - 2026 Senior Lawn Maintenance Ward NE Side

The City of Cleveland is seeking bids for lawn maintenance services for approximately 100 private residences/units per month for 8 total cuts per residence and 1 leaf cleanup on the North East Side of Cleveland. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supervision, fuel, and service necessary to provide lawn maintenance. The contract will be for a period of one year, with an option to renew for one additional year. The contractor must have experience in lawn care and maintenance, and must be able to provide references. • The contractor will be required to cut grass, trim, and perform general lawn care such as yard cleanup for approved program participants. • The contractor will be required to provide pictures before and after serving each client to ensure the work is recorded and to protect the client, the contractor, and the City of Cleveland. • The contractor will be required to use company-branded apparel and marked vehicles. • The contractor will be responsible for removing litter and debris generated by the provision of their work. • The contractor will be required to submit invoices that accurately reflect the work performed monthly. Some key requirements for the contractor include: • Having available, under their direct employment supervision, the necessary organization and facilities to properly fulfill all the services and conditions required under these specifications. • Submitting supplemental information, including the names of employees to be assigned to this contract, their function in the company, title, and number of years of service with the bidder's firm. • Providing equipment, including commercial or residential mowers, weed whackers, and blowers, as needed. • Complying with applicable Federal and State laws, orders, and regulations concerning the control and abatement of water pollution. • Removing all litter and debris generated by the provision of their work as it accumulates. • Leaving the site in a clean, neat, and attractive condition upon completion of the work.
