FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF GRAVE MARKERS

The Middlesex County Department of Community Services, Office of Human Services is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of grave markers. The markers must be constructed of aluminum, weigh one pound, and have specific design requirements. The contract will commence on January 21, 2026, for a period of 12 consecutive months, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the markers to the Middlesex County Fire Academy by March 30, 2026. • The markers must be approximately 6 1/4" in diameter and 7/16" thick. • The markers must have three lugs on the back, with two lugs spaced approximately 2 1/2" center to center, and a third lug situated approximately 1" from the base of the shield. • The markers must have a 5-point star design on the face, with the letters "US" in the center, and a flowered wreath impression encircling the face shield. • The markers must be lacquered for preservation. • The successful bidder must provide a certificate of liability insurance, naming the County as an additional insured. • The successful bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal employment opportunities and prevailing wage rates.
