Washtenaw Community College is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the carpet in the Student Center, Room 314 (SC 314). The work includes demolition of existing carpet tile and wallbase, removal and disposal, and installation of new carpet tile (both monolithic and ashlar styles) along with new wallbase and a skim coating finish. The contract follows the Sample Small Projects Construction Contract and General Conditions, requiring a 5 % bid bond (if bid exceeds $50 k), performance/payment bonds, and compliance with Michigan prevailing‑wage rules. The project must be completed by November 30 2026, with mandatory site visit on October 1 2026 and bid submission by October 12 2026.
• Scope: Remove old carpet tile & wallbase, install new carpet tile (Interface Carpet Mills) and new wallbase (Roppe 700 Series), apply Ardex skim coating.
