Intent to Sole Source - Building Automation System

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing a notice of intent to sole source a contract for a Building Automation System (BAS) at the J. Edgar Hoover (JEH) FBI Building in Washington, D.C. The contract will be awarded to Albireo Energy, the exclusive authorized Alerton service provider for the Washington, D.C. area. The contract will provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for the Alerton BAS, including parts, labor, 24/7 technical support, and training. The system is critical to the operation of the facility and requires specialized software, diagnostic tools, and technical support that only Albireo Energy can provide. • The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with a base year and four optional one-year periods. • The contract will be a firm fixed price contract. • The contractor must have access to proprietary software, programming tools, and manufacturer support. • The contractor must be able to provide 24/7 technical support and emergency response services. • The contractor must be able to provide training and operator coaching for the system.
