2026 COMMENCEMENT VENUE

SUNY DOWNSTATE HEALTH SCIENCES UNIVERSITY (SUNY-DHSU) IS SEEKING A VENUE FOR THEIR 2026 COMMENCEMENT. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION. Suny Downstate Health Science University’s 2026 Commencement. Requirements for Proposals: Must be located in the borough of Brooklyn. Must be able to seat at least 3,000 up to a maximum of 10,000. Must be available for two ceremonies during the week of May 11-15, 2026, preferably Wednesday, May 13. Must have capability to stream the ceremony live and provide a copy of the stream for public use. Must have handicap-access seating. Must have stage capacity for 60-100 people. Must have secure entry procedures and staff to provide metal detection and wanding. Must provide security and seating personnel. Must provide tickets by April 1, in order to distribute to our graduates. Must provide stage crew/loading dock crew for unload in morning and reload at end of day. Must provide separate entrance for VIP guests and faculty. Must have location for students to line up, and separate location for faculty/staff to line up.
